"I had been living in California and seeing a grief therapist for almost three years due to the loss of a sibling. She was a great therapist, and when I decided to move to New Orleans, my therapist did some research and made recommendations for new therapists in NOLA once I was situated. The moved proved to be extremely stressful and the living situation even more trying, so despite not having had found employment yet, I reached out to the recommended counselors in NOLA, one of which was Ms. Rochat (the other did not exist, divine directions!) "I worked with Nicole for 6 months. She provided lots of nutritional information as well as helping me change my pattern of eating via the Clean Program, her 8 week Nutritional program on the Daily Om, and her supportive comments and guidance. It has made huge changes in my health and happiness: I am now off asthma medication for the first time in 5 years, not coughing at all for weeks and only small amounts occasionally after many, many episodes over 7 years, some so bad people were uncomfortable to be around me....and I'm a pediatric doctor, so that was embarrassing as well as nerve-wracking for the parents of my patients.In addition, we've worked on helping me accept and be grateful for my changing body image, as I lost 20 of the 40 lbs I plan to lose.
